Buildings in Bernauer Strasse
There are many special spots in Berlin. As a reconstructed city or, what’s more, a city that is still being rebuilt, you can easily come across many captivating buildings. Most of them are located in Mitte, the city centre. However, today we are going to talk about a tiny group of edifices that are placed in Prenzlauer Berg. When we found them, our visit to Kurstrasse undoubtedly sprang to our mind.
These buildings are located in Bernauer Strasse, between Ackerstrasse and Strelitzer Strasse. You will easily recognise them, because they stand out on a side of the Berlin Wall Memorial. Even though we haven’t found out when were they built, they seem to be rather new since they don’t appear on Google Earth. As far as we know, they are architecture studios, design agencies and houses.
We were so deeply impressed by them, that we didn’t hesitate to walk around and picture them. Wood and stones mixed with grass and grey pavement create a modern combination of materials that match in an excellent way. And the huge windows and the stylish doors beautify the place.
We found it anything but captivating.
