Cafés in Berlin: What Do You Fancy Love?

What Do You Fancy Love? is a new café in Berlin, located in Knesebeckstr. 68/69, Charlottenburg, really close to Kurfürstendamm. Last week they opened their doors and we attended to their opening party on Sunday.

This café is very distinct from the others we have seen so far. Not only the location and the clientele is different, but also what they have to offer.

All their products are homemade and made with top quality ingredients. So, what do you fancy love? You can choose among fresh squeezed juices, homemade cakes, sandwiches with delicious German bread, muesli and of course excellent coffees and teas (from Mariage Frères, a superb French tea brand).

The café is run by two brothers and a cousin, which creates a very familiar atmosphere. The interior decoration is modern yet cosy and homey. The first thing you notices when coming in is a big board-like wall with menu on it. You can also see how they prepare food and juices right on the spot.

More inside, there is another room with a wall full of really cool pictures, if you pay attention, there is a Photoautomat photo in which we appear! The tables are made of wood, the walls are painted with a purple and blue colour, and the lamps hanging are amazing too.

And there’s more inside;  a room with cool pictures hanging on the walls… there is even a Photoautomat strip with us on it! There’s a few wooden tables and the walls are painted purple and blue; the lamps hanging from the ceiling are also worth checking out!

Don’t leave the café without having tried their jamalade, their signature jam+marmalade. They serve it with cakes, muesli, and you can even buy a jar and take it home. Jamalade is a special jam made of 75% fruite and only 25% natural cane sugar. Very  tasty, natural and healthy!

We will definitely be going to “What Do You Fancy Love?” very often!
