Flea Markets in Barcelona: LostandFound

When it comes to second-hand stuff Berlin comes straight to my mind. I have never been to a city with so many flea markets as Berlin. Every weekend you can easily find a Flohmarkt almost in every square or park. From food to vintage furniture, second-hand clothes or just old stuff that you would have ever imagined. As I am currently back in Barcelona now and I am missing the Berlin market scene I checked out what the city has to offer, and I was really surprised of how fashionable are the flea markets becoming here now.

Last weekend I went to one of the biggest, LostandFound. A second-hand flea market that happens every two or three months. During the winter it’s held in the beautiful train station Estació de França. And during the months of summer in La Plaça del Mar, just in front of the beach, also a great location.

The market was really big and even though I get there late and they were about to close I could manage to find some worthy objects for a really good price!

You could mostly find second-hand clothes and accessories, but there were also books, old furniture, objects for the home, vinyls, toys… It’s a great idea to buy unique pieces that you wouldn’t be able to find in the regular shops.

You can register through the website and spend a different sunday getting rid of those things that you don’t wear anymore. There was a really friendly atmosphere, live music and food and drinks stalls.
