Lu Ink: Art, Design and Home Decor Shop

Things made with love always turn out better. You can easily notice when something is made with love and passion. And thats what I felt when I got in to Lu Ink, a little shop-atelier located in Madrazo 141, Barcelona.

The shop is run buy a couple, Blanca, a painter and designer from Barcelona, and George, a graphic designer from Australia.

The shop is the place where they create and sell objects and things that they like. They enjoy creating, designing, recycling… from textiles, paintings to furniture. They opened two years ago with the idea of working with something what they love instead of making business.

80% of the products are handmade by them in the atelier, and the rest are from other designers, specially the antiques. You can find a great deal of unique objects for the home, and curious and beautiful vintage pieces. Their aim is to offer exclusivity and limited editions for all budgets. Original and different objects that you will not be able to find in any other shop.

Listening their history about dreams, love and travelling made me think that there is anything better than following your dreams and working with something you love and enjoy.
