Eating in Madrid: La Bodega de Ardosa
One of our lasts posts was about Madrid’s food-markets. In my time there, I had the chance to visit many other places, also bars and restaurants. Today’s post is about one of them.
The first day we arrived to the city, my cousin didn’t hesitate to recommend us having lunch in La Bodega de Ardosa, a bar you can find in the neighbourhood of Malasaña. He specifically told us to drink vermouth and try their Spanish omelette.
As we walked in, I quickly understood why the bar was so particular. It was filled up with bottles -all of them different beers and wines- and decorated with original vintage posters. So there we were, drinking the vermouth and eating the omelette, which I have to recognise was delicious, just like my cousin had said.
I must say I would have liked to talk to someone, but I didn’t have the chance because they were completely busy serving other customers.
For those who don’t know so much about the city, in Madrid there’s a spread culture of bars and food. I guess this is just one of the countless examples!
